Faces is the principal data entry point where data are collected from underground for storage, processing and analysis. It is a unique utility because it provides real-time reporting in a view that includes the supporting data and graphics.  The Face calculations are designed to provide control and tracking of ore and dilution.  A side benefit of the approach is that assists management of mapping quality by systematizing data collection.  It is based on CRC's practical experience of requirements and limitations presented in a  variety of underground mines and mining methods.  The user may need to collect a few more data than currently in order to ensure correct spatial, volume and metal accounting, but the data STOPECALCTM uses is largely the types of data normally collected in routine mapping and sampling of underground headings, raises and backstopes.
